The garden and terrace were fantastic for getting lost and never found. Bijilo Beach and Kololi Beach for when you want to ruin your European living standards with some natural beauty. Free WiFi for endless frustration. On-site bar for drowning your sorrows. Free parking, so you can't escape easily.

I loved how Mandinka Lodge had a tour desk because I definitely needed someone to help me plan my busy schedule of doing absolutely nothing. And the free WiFi was a lifesaver, I mean, how else would I have shared all my stunning vacation pics?

No pets allowed? Well, there goes my plan of bringing my pet lion on vacation.

I recently stayed at a charming lodge in Gambia and had a wonderful experience. The lodge had beautifully decorated African-style houses, which were comfortable and visually pleasing. The surrounding gardens were filled with vibrant plants, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts, Diane and Lamin, were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They were incredibly helpful, offering advice on local attractions and organizing trips. Additionally, the lodge provided regular linen and towel changes, offering a clean and well-maintained accommodation. The breakfast provided was basic but delicious, and having a fridge in the room was convenient. I highly recommend this lodge for those looking for a tranquil and authentic experience in Gambia.

Our stay at Mandinka Lodge was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was stunning and unlike anything we've experienced in The Gambia before. The breakfast served in the lovely garden was a delightful experience, with the opportunity to watch the birds for hours. The owners, Lamin and Diane, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They even took the time to have coffee with us in the morning, making us feel incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Mandinka Lodge provided great value for money with spacious rooms and a beautiful garden. The location was convenient, within walking distance to both the Strip and the beach. The staff, including Diane and Lamin, were incredibly hospitable and made our stay unforgettable.

More breakfast choices would have made the experience even better.

One small hiccup: the fridge in our room was broken.

The double room at Mandinka Lodge was absolutely cozy and inviting. The tile/marble floor gave it a touch of elegance, while the private entrance added a sense of exclusivity. The room had a lovely patio where I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee. Plus, the private bathroom with a shower made my stay even more convenient.

I personally would have preferred a room with a balcony, as the suite offered. But hey, that's just my preference.

The property offers an array of activities in the surroundings, making it perfect for adventurous souls. During my stay, I decided to explore Bijilo Beach and Kololi Beach, and the natural beauty of the area exceeded my expectations. It felt like stepping into a postcard, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. I even tried my hand at golfing, as the area is popular for it. the location provided endless opportunities for relaxation and exploration.
